Have you ever felt overwhelmed at the prospect of stepping into a studio environment? Perhaps you wish to take your practice to a deeper level, exploring what's instinctive, rather than fitting within a set pose? This time together is about aligning with what you really need energetically and physically...this time is for you to simply be.

Holding space at this delicate level is an honour and sacred. We begin with you and a relevant intention, connecting with where you are and your aspirations.

My approach is instinctively led, calling on my 

body psychotherapeutic experience and trainings. Here you can expect to discover a safe space to really be with your emotional process; developing the skills to ground, centre and establish a deeper connection with yourself, potentially others too. 

Perhaps you seek support following an injury? Is flexibility or strength your reason for practice; whatever brings you to the mat, I can't wait to listen and explore this with you.

121's are available in a studio space located in Newark, Fernwood Business Estate and Coddington, alternatively online is accessible for all.

Expect a heated DYNAMIC practice inspired by Forrest Yoga. 75 min class, suitable for beginners and regulars.

 

Forrest Yoga is described as the 'feeling practice’ developed to address the physical and emotional stresses and challenges faced by today's people; finding a deeper connection to your centre and core being. The ASANA is designed to support you wholeheartedly with wherever you are physically, emotionally, energetically.  

 

Directionally, expect a sequence of poses, an emphasis on abdominal exercises, conscious breathing and the relaxation of the neck; helping to strengthen and support the areas most vulnerable to our everyday circumstance, such as the lower back and neck.

 

This practice has been specifically designed to follow a guide; beginning with breath work, deep abdominals and a series of held poses, drawing heat from within. The long holds in the pose sequences help you flush, oxygenate, and rejuvenate every cell. 

 

The room will be heated which benefits the body on so many levels, bring on the heat and the cleanse.

SMALL GROUP PRACTICE

6 week Beginners Course

This is ideal for anyone looking to commence their yoga journey or perhaps explore your existing practice at a deeper level. This DYNAMIC style cuts a little deeper than a physical routine, we embark on a journey that touches the energetic and emotional spaces, because yoga isn't just about what happens on the mat, this work supports us beyond this space too.

Based on my decade of physical, spiritual exploration I have developed a five week, (75min) series focusing on mobility, strength and spirit. This is a foundational place to begin, if you are completely new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice this is a safe space to explore in a contained, beautiful studio. Groups are limited to 6 ensuring we have a deeper focus, direction and hands on assists throughout (optional).

Directionally this is a window to unpack integral poses, exploring alignment and what meets you in your body. A strong emphasis on abdominal exercises, breathing and the relaxation of the neck, to help strengthen and recover the areas most vulnerable to our everyday circumstance, such as the low back and neck.

Having spent years in the 'thick of it' my corporate experience and real life understanding has led me here.

My intuitive approach provides an alternative way in supporting organisations and their teams, focusing on CONNECTION and CONTACT.

So what does this mean and what can I offer? 

I hold space enabling a healthier, more vibrant flow for individuals and collective teams. I support with stress management, anxiety and outlook; ensuring this experience is accessible for  ALL. I celebrate what you already have not what you think you should be chasing, craving, creating. Bespoke packages are available depending on team size, location and needs.

 We will focus on the emotional, physical and energetic realms with real life context. In time this can develop into a deeper connection as a collective, sharing a unique experience beyond the desk. The experience is incredibly personal but one I wish I had experienced when I needed it the most. 

Like all great relationships it begins with a good old fashioned catch up. Exploring what's needed, explaining how things may seem and then devising a way through and forward. I can't wait to hear from you.
